With more and more apps available, we have listed some of the best out there on iOS and Android, which can help with anything from keeping a record of your tremor to improving the layout of your keyboard.

BIG Launcher

Dragon Dictation

A handy virtual assistant that can use your voice to dictate a text message or email, create Facebook status updates or a Tweet, and anything in between. The app can take the frustration out of typing and will also help users navigate their smartphones by launching music, sharing locations and finding directions.

Lift Pulse

Using the smartphone’s built in accelerometer to track movement, this app will record the extent of the user’s tremor and use this information to calculate its magnitude. By recording the tremor on a normal day and setting this as the baseline tremor, users will be able to keep a journal of their tremors and compare changes in severity.


Similar to Lift Pulse, this app also lets you record, analyze, and track hand tremors. Users are able to assess their tremors over a period of time and keep track of the changes.
